TIPS-MAPP
TIPS-MAPP is a model program that utilizes 15 tools designed to help prospective adoptive/foster parents understand the difference between the desire to help and making the commitment to bring children into their home. It is the first step in making an informed decision on whether or not foster care and/or adoption is right for your family.
Both of these classes meet the 30-hour requirement for you to be able to foster or adopt in the state of Kansas.
To register for one of our classes please call Amos Becker @ 316-218-7091 or email abecker@rfskansas.org
Children's Alliance
In partnership with their member agencies, Children’s Alliance offers training opportunities across Kansas through a contract with the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF). Trainings are available to relatives, prospective and current foster and adoptive parents, residential care staff and child welfare professionals.
